Last Monday was the twelve-year anniversary of Lleyton Hewitt first crashin on to the tennis stage as world no.1, by by winning the 2001 year-ending ATP Masters Cup in Sydney. In the final he face Sebastien Grosjean of France, whom he dispatched in straight sets 6–3, 6–3, 6–4. Highlights below (20 mins).
The Aussie went on to win the tournament once more the following year, before coming runner-up to Roger Federer in 2004. He has now been a tennis professional for an unbelievable 15 years.
