Classic Match of the Week

In Great Britain’s next Davis Cup tie they’ll face the USA, who lost their most recent match to Serbia 3-1. The team was Sam Querrey, John Isner and of course the Brian brothers, and personally I can’t see that changing. The last time Britain faced the most successful team in Davis Cup history (although they’re struggling currently), was in 1999, and highlights proved impossible to find. The USA won that tie, and the three previous to that (1937, 1963, 1978).

However, we won’t let you down with COTW, so today we’re looking at the current masters of Davis Cup tennis – who beat Canada 3-2 in their tie to reach a World Group final with the Czech Republic. After the first three matches they were 2-1 down, but Novak Djokovic and Janko Tipsarevic turned it around. Highlights from their matches with Milos Raonic and Vasek Pospisil respectively are both in the clip (3 mins) below.
